We are honored to recognize our 2022 Driver of the Year award recipients: Jose Valadez, Luis Tenorio, and Alex Gomez.

Since that time, he has remained point driver for the city of Avenal’s residents and businesses. Mr. Valadez is always performing his route duties in a professional and exemplary manner. He arrives to work each day 15 minutes early, maintains an imaculate uniform, and receives regular compliments from customers on his route.

Luis started his career with Mid Valley Disposal in October of 2014 as an ASL driver serving the city of Exeter. In 2018 Luis worked his way up to become a lead driver locally mastering all Lines of Business including Walking Floor and the OCC Bale Route. Mr. Tenorio routes for Kingsburg operations, performing opening roll out duties for supervisors, and showing up every single day prepared to fill the gaps whatever they may be.

Alex started his career with Mid Valley Disposal on June 3rd, 2014, as the first Alley Cart Swamper for the City of Kingsburg. After a full year in that position as a Class A driver Alex was promoted to an ASL position in the city and has maintained it ever since. Mr. Gomez possesses a natural work ability that has proven his dedication to his job, the company, and his peers.

Congratulations gentlemen! It is an honor to have you on our team. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to making Mid Valley Disposal one of the leading solid waste haulers in the Central Valley. Cheers!
